John Morrison undefeated in Tri-State at Gotham City Billiard Club. John’s tournament trail included wins over Jaydev Zaveri 6 – 2; Mike Strassberg 6 – 2; Amy Yu 6 – 2; Ambi Estevez 6 – 4; Raul Calderon 6 – 4; and Chumreon “Ping” Sutcharitakul 8 – 4 for the Hot Seat. While John and Ping were getting ready for battle, Tony Liang, on the loss side, defeated Kazuya Takagishi 7 – 4 and Raul Calderon 7 – 5. Tony and Ping matched up for a shot at John Morrison in the Finals with Tony winning 7 – 4. Do to the late hour both players decided to end the match with John Morrison earning a well deserved 1st place win. Both Chumreon “Ping” Sutcharitakul and Raul Calderon, 3rd and 4th respectively, deserve recognition for there strong performance. The next Tri-State event will be event held on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Rockaway Billiards in Rockaway, NJ.
