Eight US Players Punch Their Tickets to World Cup

Eight American players qualified for the Las Vegas World Cup in the USBA
February 23 qualifying tournament held at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.

They will join ten other US Players who are in the World Cup field.
Current US National Champion Pedro Piedrabuena and Hugo Patiño were
selected by the corporate organizer, Predator. They will play in the round of 32.
Players who placed third through tenth at the 2022 USBA Nationals have
qualified for the preliminary rounds:

Fifth John Park
Sixth Raymond Groot
Seventh Tae Kyu Lee
Eighth Quoc Tran Vo
Ninth Frank Torres
Tenth Victor Cuzzi
Miguel Torres, who placed second, was unable to attend.
The USBA will hold a qualifier on February 24. Six additional players will
qualify.The World Cup, which brings the top intentional players together, will begin on
February 26 and end on March 4.

On February 24, nine (9) players qualified to the big dance via the USBA qualifier:
