VNEA Announces 2024-26 Board Of Directors
The Valley National 8-Ball League Association (VNEA) announces its Board of Directors for their upcoming
45th Anniversary League Season.
After serving a successful presidency, Scott Morgan from Aactive Coin in Winnipeg, Manitoba was
succeeded as VNEA President by Judy Mehle. Judy began working in the amusement vending busi-
ness for High Country Music & Games (CO) owned by Gary Benson in 1986. Judy worked in the office
and with Gary’s mentoring learned about leagues and running successful tournaments. She attended
her first VNEA World Championships and worked on the Statistician crew in 1987. When Gary sold
the business to another operator, Judy stayed on with the new company and became manager. In the
1990’s, Judy became the Tournament Director of the Rocky Mountain VNEA Singles and Team Tourna-
ments. In 2003 Gary Benson, Judy Mehle and Warren Woodson formed BMW Billiards specializing in
pool and dart leagues. After serving on the VNEA Executive Committee for several years, Judy became
VNEA’s first woman President in 2017 and served the 2-Year term. With the passing of Benson and
Woodson in 2019, Judy found a new business partner in BMW Billiards, Ron Kapperman. In 2021, Judy
became Tournament Director of the VNEA World Championships and the event continues to soar to all-
time highs.
