It was a strong field in Wisconsin, with players like Patino, Piedrabuena, Pena, Carranco, Pineda and Mazin Shooni. Zamora was the only player to have beaten Blomdahl in the group. Munoz had the event’s high run with 16.
Blomdahl played remarkably well in Madison, with a best match of 30 in 7 and a general average of 2.009. TB showed an old familiar flair and lots of brilliance. He ran a 12 AND a 13 in the final to overpower Zamora.
