Matt Klein victorious in Tri-State at Steinway Billiards, Astoria (Queens), NY). After Matt suffered at firrst round match to Shivam Gupta 7 – 4, he back to win 11 matches in a row  Matt’s tournament trail included wins over Lidio Ramirez 7 – 6; Victor Silva 7 – 1; Arturo Reyes 7 – 6; Ricky Motilal 7 – 4; Eugene Ok 7 – 5; Max Watanabe 7 – 5; Joe Mazzeo 7 – 6; Emitt Yolcu 7 – 6; Russell Masciotti 7 – 6; and a rematch with Shivam Gupta to reach the Finals 7 – 0. Meanwhile Ryan Dayrit had sailed through 6 matches on the the win side to sit in the Hot Seat. The finals between Matt and Ryan started in the wee hours. For Matt to win he had to reach 8 first, just to extend the match to 10, if he was to have a chance to win. Ryan was off to an early lead of 4 – 0, but Matt tied the match up at 6 to 6 and never looked back to win the match and tournament 10 – 6.
