Corey Duel wins One Pocket
After four days of play and nine rounds of play the One Pocket competition is down to 8 players. Three players still have re-buys, Francisco Bustamante, Benny Conway and Corey Deuel. The raining 2012 Champion Shane Van Boening and the remaining four other players, Darren Appleton, Joseph Gray, Danny Harriman and Sylver Ocho have one loss. The finials for the One Pocket are Thursday nigh, streamed PPV by Accu-Stats.
Billiards star earns top honors from the Women’s Professional Billiard Association
Billiards superstar Jeanette Lee, known throughout the world as “œThe Black Widow,” will be inducted into the Women’s Professional Billiard Association (WPBA) Hall of Fame on Wednesday, Feb. 6 prior to the start of the 2013 WPBA Masters at Soaring Eagle Casino in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. Lee, who has won over 30 national and international titles, is currently ranked as the No. 3 billiards player in the world.

Tuesday, Day five of the tournament will start with the third round of the One Pocket which is down to 147 players from the original 280.
The “œBig Foot” ten ball challenge will also start on the 10 foot tables. The event has 32 players with $1000 buy in competing for a piece of the $50,000 prize fund which will go to the last 8 standing in the single elimination event.

Tuesday was the Banks and One Pocket Hall of Fame induction dinner. The inductees for this year were Shannon “œThe Cannon” Daulton and Larry Price. Larry Price was one of the great players we lost in the past year. He was inducted into the Banks HOF having won the DCC banks in 2002 and 2008.

Jesse Hernandez probably thought he’d seen the last of Crispian Ng on the weekend of January 19-20, when he sent him west during the Omega Billiard Tour’s 2013 season opener Saturday night. Ng, though, came back from the one loss side to challenge Hernandez in the finals, pushing him to double hill before Hernandez prevailed to claim the season-opening event title.
I bought the North Coast TAP League January 1st of 2012 with great enthusiasm. I am happy to say we are gaining interest and growth everyday. This of course, couldn’t have been accomplished without the great support and structure that TAP Corporate has in place, including Team Help from fellow Licensees, always there when you need them.
