Marietta, Georgia- The Association of Billiard Professionals will be hosting its first ever ABP Banquet for Professional Players on October 13th. It will take place during the Johnny Archer Classic at a designated intermission between 6pm-730pm on Saturday. All players in the tournament will be invited to join as well as special guests.

IN A FAIRYTALE ending local player Karol Skowerski was crowned 2012 ClubWPT.com World Pool Masters Champion as he put away a host of big name stars over the course of the tournament before ousting fellow Pole Mateusz Sniegocki 8-6 in a tense final at the Hala Legionow in Kielce, Poland.
I have lived in Arkansas for over 20 years. I started playing pool at 10 years old. Later on in years I left the game to pursue other interests only to find myself right back at it years later. I joined a local pool league witch reminded me of my passion for the sport and the fun people had playing.

It was a fun weekend with good friends, great pool, amazing stories, as well as true kindness and generosity. The first annual Str8-Shots Shoot for a Cure event was held at Felt Billiards in Englewood, Colorado on September 21-23. It began as a vision between the Colorado Springs couple, Marc and Kimberly Griffiths. They wanted to organize an event to raise money for cancer, a cause they are both very passionate about.

On Friday, thirty B+ players began round robin play in five groups. Â The first and second place winners from each group advanced to the semi-finals along with the winner of the auction and the winner of the lottery.
Children and parents gathered at Bogies Billiards in Houston this past Tuesday, September 25th, 2012 to enjoy a “œKids Pool Camp” hosted by WPBA Billiard Pros Melissa Little of Denver, CO and Kim White of Houston, TX. The “œKids Pool Camp” concept, designed by Little, was created to spark an interest in pool for children, ages 17 & under. The program also aids in building character, self-esteem, and confidence, in a social atmosphere, through billiards.

Laurel Highlands TAP Summer Titleholder Results
Two brackets totaling 32 teams shot it out for a prize fund of $7,000 from August 24 to 26th at the Cooperstown Vets in Derry Pa.. This Titleholder is typically the smallest one of the three yearly Titleholders due to the summer slow down but was purposely restricted even more so this year due to the national play offs scheduled into this already busy weekend. But there was still plenty of stiff competition and hill-hill matches.
