Denver, COLO. ““Wynkoop Brewing Company in downtown Denver will be hosting a Pool Exhibition on May 7th, 2011 between Vivian “œThe Texas Tornado” Villarreal and Melissa “œThe Viper” Little, two of the top Women’s Professional Billiard Association (WPBA) players, in a battle to establish dominance in the tour.
“œCueing Folks with Strokes” Benefit Pool Tournament presented by Melissa Little and the Wynkoop Brewing Company: On Saturday, July 9th, 2011, a pool tournament will be held at the Wynkoop Brewing Company in Denver, Colorado to benefit Tom Ross and the Boulder Community Hospital’s In-Patient Rehab Center.
Members of the Route 19 TAP pool league along with local businesses partnered up with Lisa Hoffman and the Slippery Rock University Council for Exceptional Children to raise money for autism awareness. The benefit took place on April 3, 2011 at the Stanley Synder VFW located in Volant, PA.
After his victory in Event 1 of the 2011 United States Snooker Association Tour (USSA), sponsored by Aramith Billiard Balls and Strachan West Of England snooker cloth, Paul Carbin has completed the Brooklyn double this year with victory in Event 4 at the Top 147 Snooker Club.

LAKE SAINT LOUIS, MO (April 8, 2011) “” The American Poolplayers Association (APA) has made a $5,000 donation to the Red Cross to aid in relief efforts following the earthquake in Japan in early March.
APA has been conducting leagues in Japan since 2007 as the Japanese Poolplayers Association (JPA). There are nearly 1,300 players currently participating in the JPA.
