Karen Corr wins 2014 Predator Women’s Open 9-Ball Pro Players Championship The event was a single elimination event scheduled for two days starting on Saturday and finishing on Sunday. The field was originally set for 16 players but had such a large interest it was expanded to 32 possible players. The play was on 9 foot Diamond tables and the rules for 2014 were: |

US Bida in Houston Texas hosted a local 3-Cushion B Championship Tournament
US Bida in Houston Texas hosted a local B championship on Saturday March 1st. The event was sponsored by Judge Jay Karahan, an avid billiard player and respected member of the Harris County judiciary. Judge Jay added $500 to the prize fund and helped officiate the event. Our host, Tim Nguyen, provided a wonderful lunch and beverages for both players and spectators. It was a grand day for billiards!
Memphis Boys and Girls Club-By Bob Hunt
Kick off this year with a fantastic youth pool event. The Bernard Smith Boys and Girls club just completed this year’s first Youth Championship Open. Eight ball and Nine-ball matches took place during this true double-elimination event. Players conducted themselves like pros utilizing the World Standardized Rules of play. The field consisted of sixteen young pool-shooters ready to win a new cue and some awesome; at least for a year, bragging rights! There were no cash prizes; winning said it all for Gary Fields.
